The show featured a dynamic lineup of designers, but one name that truly stood out was Dupe Adedeji, owner of Tudis African Boutique. Her designs were a radiant display of modern African fashion, dazzling the audience with bold Ankara prints and elegant silhouettes.

“The fabric I use is called Ankara — it’s 100% cotton,” Dupe shared, adding that her designs are “very versatile, so you can dress them up or down for any occasion.”

Tudis African Boutique, which has been open for eight years, also hosted a pop-up shop at the venue featuring custom one-of-a-kind garments, statement gold and silver jewelry, and a full glam makeup experience. “Beautiful, vibrant, and versatile” perfectly describe both the brand and the woman behind it. When asked about her favorite part of the show, Dupe smiled and said, “The people. Everyone was just so nice.”

Other featured designers included Out of Africa, Quin COCO’s Closet, Royce Couture Dresses, Modern Man, and SKO each bringing a unique flair ranging from cultural to formal wear.

Whether it was street chic or regal elegance, the runway reflected the diverse beauty of Black fashion and identity.

The audience was filled with proud parents, mentors, and community supporters, all cheering on the incredible group of children and teens who modeled with poise and pride. The room radiated joy, encouragement, and unity — a true celebration of heritage and hope.
